Therefore, it isn’t advisable to drink more than 400 mg per day, which is equivalent to a little more than 4 cups of black coffee. Excessive caffeine consumption is associated with various mental disorders and sleep loss.

In addition to caffeine, tea has polyphenols and theaflavins. These substances reduce blood fat levels, preventing their accumulation in body tissues. Polyphenols also help improve digestion, accelerating metabolism.
